Adhesive Anchors

Adhesive anchoring epoxy compounds from DeWalt and Simpson Strong-Tie round out AFT's anchor catalog. Our adhesive anchor compounds secure rebar, railings, threaded rods, bolts, dowels, pins and more into concrete and masonry base materials. Adhesive anchors are useful in horizontal and vertical applications, but are generally not recommended for overhead use. As a national distributor for DeWalt and Simpson Strong-Tie Anchors, AFT offers several choices of code-listed concrete and masonry adhesive anchoring products. Available in single and dual cartridges, AFT offers a range of package sizes as well as the dispensing tools, screen tubes, piston plugsadhesive retaining caps, mixing nozzles and cleaning tools required for their application.

Choosing the Correct Adhesive Anchor

  • DeWalt AC100+ Gold is a two-component vinylester adhesive anchoring system. The system includes injection adhesive in plastic cartridges, mixing nozzles, dispensing tools and hole cleaning equipment. The adhesive is designed for bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar elements into drilled holes in concrete and masonry base materials. It can be considered for use in solid base materials as well as hollow base materials with screen tubes.
  • DeWalt AC200+ is a two-component, high strength adhesive anchoring system. The system includes injection adhesive in plastic cartridges, mixing nozzles, dispensing tools and hole cleaning equipment. AC200+ is designed for bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar hardware into drilled holes in concrete base materials and for post-installed reinforcing bar connections (rebar development).
  • DeWalt AC50 is a two-component, adhesive anchoring system. The system includes injection adhesive in plastic cartridges, mixing nozzles, dispensing tools and hole cleaning equipment. AC50 is designed for bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar hardware into drilled holes in solid concrete base materials.
  • DeWalt Pure110+ is a two-component, high strength adhesive anchoring system. The system includes injection adhesive in plastic cartridges, mixing nozzles, dispensing tools and hole cleaning equipment. Pure110+ is designed for bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar hardware into drilled holes in concrete base materials and for post-installed reinforcing bar connections (rebar development).
  • DeWalt Pure50+ is a two-component adhesive anchoring system. The system includes injection adhesive in plastic cartridges, mixing nozzles, dispensing tools and hole cleaning equipment. Pure50+ epoxy is designed for bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar hardware into drilled holes in solid concrete base materials. It can also be considered for bonding together cured concrete and masonry materials together as well as filling large cracks and abandoned holes.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie SET-3G is the latest innovation in epoxy anchoring adhesives with high design strength and proven performance. SET-3G is a 1:1 ratio, two-component, anchoring adhesive for concrete (cracked and uncracked). SET-3G installs and performs in a variety of environmental conditions and temperature extremes.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie SET-XP is an epoxy-based high-strength anchoring adhesive. SET-XP is a 1:1 ratio, two-component anchoring adhesive for anchoring and doweling into concrete (cracked and uncracked) and masonry (uncracked) applications.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie AT-XP is an acrylic-based high-strength anchoring adhesive. AT-XP is a 10:1 ratio, two-component, anchoring adhesive for use in threaded rod and rebar into concrete (cracked and uncracked) and masonry (uncracked) under a wide range of conditions. AT-XP adhesive dispenses easily in cold or warm environments and in below-freezing temperatures with no need to warm the cartridge.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie ET-HP is a two-component, high-solids, epoxy-based system for use as a non-shrink anchor-grouting material. ET-HP is formulated for anchoring threaded rod and rebar into concrete (cracked and uncracked) and masonry (uncracked).

When to use Adhesive Screen Tubes?

Screen tubes are used in hollow base material applications to contain the adhesive around the anchor and to prevent the mixture from seeping into voids.
