Auto Industry Sanding Discs

These special automotive sandpaper discs for orbital grinders are made with green aluminum oxide grain, which is the best abrasive choice for blending and shaping all types of automotive and marine fillers. They feature an open coat to prevent loading, electrostatic coating, provide fast stock removal, and backed with heavy E-weight paper. Choose between PSA or Hook and Loop Discs in either 6” or 8” diameters, with or without dust holes. For use on paint, primer, plastics, fiberglass, metal, and body fillers. Also try non-adhesive, hook and loop, and PSA long board paper for automotive applications using a file board sander.

Cloth Sanding & Finishing Discs

These all-purpose cloth PSA discs are made with aluminum oxide grain and a heavy weight cloth. They are resistant to heat and moisture and provide a consistent cut. The cloth sanding pads are for use with an orbital sander and available in 5” discs, 6” discs, 8” discs, 9” discs, and 12” discs without dust holes. They work best when used for sanding and finishing metal, wood, plastic, and fiberglass. These discs must be used with a backing pad.

Coating Removal Discs

The extra-coarse coating removal discs can be used to replace wire brushes and scrapers as they remove a variety of coating with light pressure. They are made with non-woven material impregnated with silicon carbide grain and feature the hook and loop attachment design for an easy change. Drywall Sanding Discs and Pads

These 9” drywall sanding discs and pads are for use with Porter Cable 7800 and Radius 360° drywall sanders. They are best used to sand and finish drywall, compound, filler, and removing texture and wallpaper residue. The aluminum oxide grain drywall sanding discs sands three times faster than by hand and eliminates swirl marks, offering a better overall finish. Floor Sanding Discs

AFT offers a large selection of floor sanding discs to be used with floor sanders on hardwood floors and concrete. They are available in diameters ranging from 15” up to 20” to fit any application. Grits range from 12 up to 120.

Resin Fibre Discs

Sandscreen Edger Discs

Sandscreen edger discs for floor edgers can be used wet or dry and are washable and reusable for added life. There is silicon carbide grain on both sides of a mesh-cloth backing, and the open coat screen prevents loading. Sandscreen floor edger discs are available in 7” diameters with either a 5/16” or 7/8” hole.

Semi-Flexible Sanding Discs

Semi-flexible sanding discs are used with angle grinders and have a spiral design, which allows the disc to run cooler and prevent loading. The Type 29 discs are available in 4-1/2” and 7” diameters in both aluminum oxide and silicon carbide abrasive grain. These semi-flexible discs easily removes coatings, adhesives, paint, and mastics. Choose the aluminum oxide semi-flexible grinding disc while working with ferrous metals, cold rolled steel, bronze, iron, stainless steel, and aluminum, while silicon carbide semi-flexible discs are best for non-ferrous metals, marble, concrete, fiberglass, enamels, porcelain, and granite. Be sure to pick-up a backing pad as these sanding discs require one for attachment to the angle grinder.

Surface Conditioning Discs

Made with non-woven material impregnated with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide grain, these quick change and hook and loop surface conditioning discs are great for flat, contoured, and hard to reach areas.
