End Brushes

Wire end brushes are designed to be mounted on drills or die grinders for deburring, surface cleaning, or removal of paint, rust or weld scale. The smaller diameter brush allows for working in recessed and tight areas where a cup brush or wire wheel couldn’t reach, such as the inside diameter of a tube or pipe. The attached stem allows for safe operation at high speeds and quick mounting onto the rotary power tool. End brushes can be filled with a variety of materials including carbon steel wire and stainless steel wire. Carbon steel end brushes are the most common and used as a “general purpose” wire brush. Stainless steel end brushes can be used on aluminum, stainless steel, and other high tensile alloys to prevent contamination or rusting.

End brushes are available in a variety of crimped and knotted wire configurations for a broad range of tight area surface cleaning applications. Crimped end brushes are for general purpose cleaning and flexible for light to medium duty applications. Knot end brushes are intended for more heavy-duty applications and provide an aggressive brush with minimal flexibility.
