Great for Post Frame and Timber Frame Construction, Bridge Building, Heavy Duty Crating, and much more. The sharp ring shanks hold tight and resist pullout. These nails are specifically designed for use in the MAX HS 130 High Pressure PowerLite™ Tool and Bostitch BRT 130.
Was excited to get these but was quickly disappointed upon opening the box. A large number (roughly 1/3) of the collated strips were broken. Sifting through I was able to find some usable strips but the plastic seems overly brittle and easily breaks during normal and even careful handling. The broken collates have caused jams, misfires, and numerous wasted nails. First time using Maze collated nails, not sure if this is to be expected for this product or if this particular box was possibly old stock.
Collate aside, the nails that were used performed flawlessly. Good hold and I’m sure will perform as expected. Just very disappointed in the waste and the need for delicate handling. Would have really expected something much more robust for a nail designed to be used in heavy construction.
