Screwdrivers

Manual screwdrivers are used for installing and removing screws. The shaft of screwdrivers is typically made from toughened steel to resist bending and warping, and the handles are made from wood, metal, or plastic in a hexagonal, square or oval shape to help with gripping and prevent the tool from rolling when set down. Screwdrivers are classified by the shape of the tip which matches to the corresponding screw head slot shape. The two most common shapes are the slotted, or flat head, screwdriver and the Phillip's head screwdriver, but also come in ball, hex, square, and torx shapes. A screwdriver may be one solid tool, or may have interchangeable tips used with one handle for convenience. AFT also offers insulated, offset, and specialty drivers for specific project needs.
