Spline Bits

Spline bits are designed for use with a rotary hammer drill. They have twelve teeth, or splines, on the shank that fit into a hammer drill collar to assure a perfect fit. The head of spline bits work with the carbide tip to break up concrete and hard materials, while the flute designed into the bit facilitates the removal of dust as the hole is being drilled. Spline shank bits provide maximum drilling torque.

Before drilling you should always make sure that your carbide tip, flutes, and land are in acceptable condition if they have been previously used.
