Turnbuckles

A turnbuckle, also called a stretching screw or bottle screw, is a device used to adjust the tension or length of ropes, cables, tie rods, and other tensioning systems. The design normally consists of two threaded eye bolts (or hooks); one has a right-hand thread and the other has a left-hand thread. AFT has a large selection of hot dipped galvanized carbon steel and stainless steel turnbuckles with rated capacities up to 75,000 lbs. Our styles include: body only, jaw/jaw, eye/eye, eye/hook, eye/jaw, hook/hook, jaw/jaw and stub/stub turnbuckles. Overall length options start at 3-1/4” and go up to 85” (open length).Choose the length, material, and size you need, or contact us to request a quote.
