FAQs
What is the difference between an "insert bit" and a "power bit"?
Insert bits
- Shorter in length, usually around 1" long.
- Designed to be used with a bit holder (magnetic or quick-change holder).
- The bit holder provides extra reach and flexibility.
- Commonly used in assembly work or applications where bits are frequently swapped.
Power bits
- Longer, typically 2" to 6" or more.
- Designed to fit directly into a drill or power screwdriver chuck without a separate holder.
- Provide more reach and better visibility when driving fasteners in deeper or hard-to-reach areas.
- Often used in production or heavy-duty power tool applications.
