Ogee Washers

Ogee washers are commonly used in wood and dock construction and usually made from cast iron and hot dipped galvanized for added corrosion protection in harsh environments. They have a large, over-sized bearing surface that is designed to prevent bolt heads and nuts from pulling into the wood. Due to the size and shape, they are generally manufactured as a cast iron product in accordance with ASTM A47 or A48.
